Everyone knows that Don Lemon, a CNN achor, is a radical far-left-wing radical with absolutely no regard for facts or the truth. He proves it everytime he opens his mouth. He wanted this Weather Expert guest to support his unscientific declaration that Hurricane that battered Cuba and now Florida is evidence of climate change. Here is how uncouth this left-wing reprobate is. He is just one sampling of way, way too many arrogant others...
Quote: "Millions of Americans are watching as a major hurricane hit the Florida coast. News networks have been reporting on the situation around the clock–as lives could be at stake. But one CNN anchor, who is soon to lose his show, tried to make the storm political. He even tried to get the National Hurricane Center’s acting director to join in.
But he shut him down cold. From Daily Wire: “Can you tell us what this is and what effect the climate change has on this phenomenon?” Lemon asked. “Well, we can come back and talk about climate change at a later time,” Rohme said… Lemon refused to give up on the issue and claimed that Rohme wanted to talk about climate change, even though that’s not what Rohme said. “I don’t think you can link climate change to any one event,” Rohme responded. “On the whole, on the cumulative, climate change may be making storms worse, but to link it to any one event, I would caution against that.”
Geez, talk about a dog with a bone. Lemon was shut down by Jamie Rohme–you know, the expert on the issue. Yet that didn’t stop this politicizing news host to force the issue. Even when Rohme shut him down twice, Lemon kept pushing it. He claimed that because he “grew up there” he knows that the storms are “intensifying.” And, because of his claims, this means “something” is causing them to intensify. I guess Lemon needs a lesson in history. Florida has long been hit by powerful storms, some stronger than the current one. While some can try to argue that climate change might make them more intense, you can’t link this political issue with what we’ve seen for decades.
Not even Rohme is willing to take Lemon’s pathetic bait.
Imagine the arrogance of this CNN host. An actual expert is explaining the science to him–yet he still tries to force the issue. Lives are at stake. Viewers need to know the facts about this storm. Yet Lemon wants to blather on about climate change. And, once again, we are not surprised CNN is losing viewers." Talking about bad journalist doing bad journalism, this item hits the mark. They willingly abuse their positions by impugning anyone who does not embrace their Marxist oriented political philososphy. They will take anything anyone they disagree with says and twist it to mean anything they want without a single regard for the truth or any facts. Way, way too many of them are incredibly dishonest, disingenuous and flat out irresponsible human beings. They are not journalists. They are in fact left-wing political activists. No, left wing propagandists... They saw and heard what Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene depicted in an ad ant proceed to twist into a precisely what it was not. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene advertising a contest to win a hog-hunting trip with Greene. She is particularly vocal and is usually right on target hiting Democrats where it hurts. Thin-skined left-wing journalists do not like that. So instead of reporting the facts, being the little people they are, they fabricate lies in retaliation, thinking they can win a losing battle with facts and the truth.
Quote: "After HuffPost published an incendiary, misleading headline that claimed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was encouraging her supporters to shoot Democrats, the controversial Georgia Republican had nine words for the publication: “Your freedom of press is not freedom to lie.” The article — which remains up, albeit with a slightly altered headline — dealt with a viral campaign video Greene posted to social media. The ad, posted Tuesday, dealt with two major destructive forces: Democratic policies and feral hogs eating up crops. “We’ve got skyrocketing inflation, high diesel fuel [prices] and Democrats’ America-last policies,” Greene said, standing in front of a helicopter. However, she noted those policies weren’t the only things affecting beleaguered farmers. Feral hogs have also been a major issue, tearing up fields in many parts of America.
Voters can only solve one of those problems at the ballot box. However, with feral hogs, you can hunt them, often from helicopters. “Let’s help American farmers out,” Greene said at the conclusion of the video. Now, you’ll notice at no point does Greene directly conflate Democrats with feral hogs. She didn’t go out there and say, “Let’s do to these hogs what we should do to Democrats!”
In fact, the ad assiduously avoids any comparison that might imply the two are in any way similar — and for good reason, because you can see publications like HuffPost writing a headline like, “Marjorie Taylor Greene Likens Dems To Hogs, Wants Help Shooting Them Dead.” Except the liberal outlet went ahead and wrote that headline anyway. “Far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Tuesday launched a competition to join her hunting for feral hogs in Texas,” HuffPost’s Lee Moran wrote. “In a video shared on Facebook, the extremist lawmaker likened Democrats to the wild animals that tear up farmers’ crops.”
It’s unclear whether Moran was responsible for the headline, but it was obviously false — and in a series of tweets, Greene made sure HuffPost knew it. “I demand you change this headline and your lies about me immediately,” the congresswoman wrote. “Your freedom of press is not freedom to lie about me,” she said. “I NEVER said anything like this and did NOT call for violence on Democrats.
“Lee Moran, your political activist posing as a journalist writing for your hard left political blog, should be fired immediately for such a lie. “Your editor should be fired for using his position to green light such atrocious lies and character assassinations against me.” (See tweets)
Greene went on to say that she was “fed up with the political hacks in the media who lie about Republicans every single day.” “You don’t get to lie about me and many of my colleagues calling us Nazis, fascists, and any other nasty label you type up and get away with it,” she continued. “Your projection is becoming exposed.” (See Video) “Responsible honest journalism is badly missing in this country,” the congresswoman said. “It’s a worthy profession and those that pursue it with honesty and integrity are truly the best.” (See tweet) “Does America have any journalist of such high character and moral ethics that can resist the powerful temptation to lie, abusing their power of freedom of the press, in order to serve their political party?” she concluded. “Tragically, we do not.” (See Tweet)
On one level, Greene is wrong — legally speaking, most publications do get to lie about Republicans thanks to the First Amendment and the “actual malice” standard. In New York Times Co. v. Sullivan, the Supreme Court ruled that not only must a published statement be false to be considered legally libelous, it must be done “with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not.” This is an especially difficult hurdle to clear — and it seems a bit more difficult for Republicans and conservatives. The judge in former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s defamation suit against The New York Times, for instance, announced during deliberations earlier this year that he would throw out the verdict no matter what the jury decided because he said he found no evidence of malice. In that case, the Times published an Op-Ed that explicitly linked Palin’s political action committee to the shooting of former Arizona Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in 2011.
This was based on an advertisement that put targets over vulnerable Democrat districts, one of which was Giffords’. However, there was no evidence the shooter ever saw the ad, and the theory had been thoroughly debunked by the time the Op-Ed was published.
While the jury in the Palin case eventually ruled against her, it’s worth noting several of them reportedly received notifications on their phones during deliberations that informed them the judge would throw out a verdict against the Times no matter what. Thus, a court case against HuffPost likely wouldn’t end well, no matter how bad the headline was.
That said, Greene was at least able to shame the outlet into changing it — slightly. “Marjorie Taylor Greene Likens Dems To The Hogs She Wants To Shoot Dead,” the headline read as of Friday morning. That’s still wrong, but it doesn’t say Greene explicitly called for shooting Democrats dead like they were feral hogs. At the end of the story, meanwhile, there was a note — not an official correction, mind you — quietly mentioning that the “headline has been updated to clarify the contents of the video.” Actually, it was updated to clarify a lie about the contents of the video. It is no wonder that most Americans disregard anything that the mainstream media talking heads and their puppet fact checkers ever say. Because everything they do and say is either a lie, misdirection, purposeful misinformation, a total fabrication or an act of censorship.
Quote: "BREAKING: Media HUMILIATED After Biden Collusion Report – What a JOKE. Hahaha! This is hilarious and ridiculous. Supposed media fact checkers have declared they found “no Biden lies.” Biased much? Media LIES for Biden. “On a day when President Joe Biden’s mental faculties are being questioned again, a new report suggests the media is covering for the 79-year-old president in a way it never did for former President Donald Trump,” reported Washington Examiner.
“In studying media fact-checking under Biden and Trump, the conservative Media Research Center said that the truth police have found ‘zero’ examples of Biden lying or being 100% wrong despite his frequent verbal flubs and fabricated life stories,” Washington Examiner reported. MRC NewsBusters Editor Tim Graham said the liberal media’s fact-checkers have targeted the president’s critics by a 6-1 ratio in their probes for truth.
Graham wrote, “Over his first 20 months in office, Biden had 58 fact-checks, while Biden critics were checked 338 times. Overall, there were 5.8 fact checks of Biden critics for every one of the president.” Graham said, “Biden was hit with no ‘Pants on Fire’ ratings, despite his often-made odd and wrong comments and mental confusion.”
“On Wednesday, for example, as he hosted an event, he called out for a lawmaker to be recognized. That lawmaker, the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN), died in a car wreck in early August, and the White House issued a statement of sympathy,” reports Washington Examiner. “There were zero ‘Pants on Fire’ rulings about President Biden in his first 20 months.
By contrast, Donald Trump has 10 in that time span. Biden has only six in his entire career since PolitiFact began in 2007. Biden could say the evacuation from Afghanistan was an ‘extraordinary success,’ and we have ‘zero percent’ inflation, and there were no factual objections. On April 22, he claimed he was a ‘full professor’ for four years at the University of Pennsylvania, which is simply false. They called it ‘Half True,'”Graham wrote. What do you think about the fact that President Biden hasn’t been called out by the media for his lies?
