Joe Biden is getting backlash for his speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in which he attacked millions of Americans who support President Donald Trump.
People compared Biden's speech to a Communist or Nazi-like speech, and even CNN softened the look of the visuals so it didn't look as bad.
Biden has since tried to walk back his comments, claiming he was only referring to people who called for "violence."
Biden continued to backpedal, saying he meant to condemn the use of violence and not the failure to acknowledge when elections were won.
Biden today: "I don't consider any Trump supporter a threat to the country."
Biden yesterday: "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic."
