Emmet Sullivan's Abuse of Discretion.

In a move as unexpected as it is disturbing, Judge Emmet Sullivan has chosen to ignore the Constitution and his role as unbiased arbiter to launch himself into the role of prosecutor where there is no longer a prosecution, to satisfy the political aspirations of a former President and and a cohort of have-beens.

Judge Sullivan seemed to understand that over the past two years, when he rejected at least 24 such, if I recall well, amicus briefs in favor of General Flynn.

Before we discuss the nature of John Gleeson and this absurd order, let's go back to what apparently Judge Sullivan has already prejudged: Did General Flynn commit perjury? Well there are no charges of perjury pending against him, so why would the judge bring the matter up? The only possible explanation is that in December 18th, 2018, when questioned by the judge whether he trusted his counsel, whether he reaffirmed his plea, whether he was guilty off the charges against him, he answered in the affirmative.

What Judge Sullivan has done it is not only illegal, it's unconstitutional.

Maybe, just maybe, Judge Sullivan should have appointed an Amicus Curiæ to explain to him the meaning of justice.

There is not going to be any impeachment of Judge Sullivan.

What we should be discussing is whether Judge Sullivan should be impeached for his abuse of discretion and his violation of the separation of powers or not.

My opinion of Judge Sullivan was, ironically, formed-or informed-by the glowing portrayal of him by Sidney Powell in License to Lie.

There is no way that Judge Sullivan doesn't know that he knows that Brandon Van Grack lied to him repeatedly invoking alleged misconduct by General Fling and, oh my God!, the possibility that he was a traitor working for Erdogan.

We shouldn't be wasting our time in the biased opinions of, say, John Gleeson, or in the vagaries of Judge Sullivan trying to keep alive a judicial corpse.

To all of those like Judge Sullivan, who want to act as if they were in a French country court...Wake up...This is America.
