That hasn't stopped members of President Joe Biden's administration, including the president himself, of continuing the narrative for whatever nefarious purposes, and to the shock of many, CNN's Jake Tapper challenged Department of Homeland Security Chief Alejandro Mayorkas on why such rumors are still being spread, Fox News reported.
Mayorkas originally helped clarify the situation after the images were spread online, but apparently decided to reverse his stance after Biden insisted that the CBP agents had done something wrong, without proof or giving the agents the benefit of letting the investigation play out.
During an interview Sunday, Tapper had a chance to press Mayorkas on the developing situation, especially on the heels of Biden's insistence that someone "Will pay" as a result of what appears to be a non-incident.
The CNN anchor asked Mayorkas how he can expect an independent investigation to be fairly conducted after Biden and many others in the White House have already publicly charged the agents with wrongdoing.
Not surprisingly, Mayorkas backtracked to some degree, pointing out the "Heroic" border agents he's worked with over the years.
In a surprising comeback from the usually Biden administration-friendly anchor, Tapper then suggested that Mayorkas share those same sentiments with President Biden to remind him that border agents aren't racist demons.
In addition to the fake "Whipping" narrative, Mayorkas was also forced to admit that a vast majority of the Haitian migrants have already been turned loose onto U.S. soil, with nothing more than a promise to report for their immigration hearing date, which most migrants never end up doing.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to discern fact from fiction, and unfortunately the media has a strong bias. They spin stories to make conservatives look bad and will go to great lengths to avoid reporting on the good that comes from conservative policies. There are a few shining lights in the media landscape-brave conservative outlets that report the truth and offer a different perspective. We must support conservative outlets like this one and ensure that our voices are heard.
