Some thoughts about the seriousness of the condition in which we find ourselves.

The attorney general is absolutely correct. Whether we have the stomach to own up to it or not, we have become an immoral people left with little more than the pretense of morality. The left's attack on religion is just the tiny tip of the iceberg in our nation's moral decline. You say: "That's a pretty heavy charge, Williams. You'd better be prepared to back it up with evidence!" I'll try with a few questions for you to answer."  Each one of us needs to answer the questions he raises and see whether we can refute the truth.  Williams reminds us that the bottom line as laid out by John Adam is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth: "In 1798, John Adams, a leading Founding Father and our second president said: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." The evidence of that irrational belief is evident all around us.  Humans cannot and will not replace the moral and religious needs that guide us to righteousness which come to us from God alone. What is needed now is detailed in the New Testament of the Christian Bible and it tells us about the freely offered salvation available to all of us through Jesus Christ. Only when we return to our religious roots will societal order be reestablished. Failing that will lead to a future of untold human suffering brought to us by the forces of evil we invited into our lives when we decided to forsake our religious heritage.
