Explosive Packages a False Flag?

Back then we weren't supposed to link that individual with the rhetoric of Sanders and other Democrats who warned that if the Republican agenda was enacted, millions would die.

The Democrats are even paying people to draw swastikas on American flags and waving them around, made to look like deranged, lunatic Trump supporters.

Even though every event, like mass shootings, remember, every mass shooting there is, the Democrats in the media try to make everybody think right off the bat that some tea partier did it, or some talk radio fan did it, or some Fox News viewer did it.

If a Democrat operative's purpose here is to make it look like, hey, you know, there are mobs everywhere, the mobs are not just Democrat mobs.

The Democrat's genuinely toxic rhetoric had real consequences and if it were not for the fact that Scalise, as a member of the House leadership, was assigned a security detail, perhaps dozens of GOP congressmen would have been slaughtered by a deranged Democrat.

The packages may be found to be a real threat from an obviously unbalanced individual or individuals, but it may very well also be a false flag designed to reaffirm the Democrats' continuous slander against the GOP. Daniel John Sobieski is a free lance writer whose pieces have appeared in Investor's Business Daily.

Now the Democrats genuinely get to say "Both sides", with packages containing explosives sent to the Clintons, Eric Holder, George Soros and others conveniently two weeks before a possibly history-changing midterm election.

Why no one trusts the media to get the bombing story right
Rew McCarthy writing at the National Review has some thoughts on the way the media is covering the attempted bombing of prominent Democrats.

Speculation is not "News" although many in the media are reporting it as such.

As McCarthy points out, actual "Facts" about the story are severely lacking, leading to broadly based blame casting on the right which has absolutely no basis in fact.

Speaking of "Attacks," why, in light of the context of a possible bombing spree, is the Times asserting that Secretary Clinton, President Obama, and Mr. Soros have "Figured prominently in conservative political attacks"? They have not been subjected to "Attacks" in the sense conveyed by this report; they have been on the receiving end of mere political criticism, not the subjects of attempted political assassinations.

Many will attribute these thoughtless, fact free attacks on Trump and the right as simple media bias.

There's no time for anything except reaction by the reporter - augmented by talking heads and "Experts." That reaction is almost always, by necessity, full of a reporter's biased assumptions of "What it all means."

The first blush reporting of a major story - a terrorist attack or an attempted bombing - becomes nearly set in stone.

Andrew Cuomo jumps up and suggests he too got a bomb, even though he didn't
Did Andrew Cuomo actually want to get a bomb from some unknown criminal or terrorist delivered to him?

Though New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday that an explosive device had been sent to his office after a spate of bombs targeting at least six high-profile liberal figures, the NYPD says he wasn't a target.

"A device has been sent to my office in Manhattan, which we were just informed about," Cuomo said at a joint press conference Wednesday outside CNN headquarters, where a bomb was found.

In a subsequent statement, the NYPD denied that Cuomo or his office had been targeted.

First Cuomo said he never got a bomb, at a time when other prominent Democrats had gotten them from some unknown criminal or terrorist.

Then Cuomo said that, oh, actually he had also gotten one, a "Suspicious package" to be precise, apparently wanting to be placed on the list of leading Democrats with enough clout to enrage some package bomber.

Then there's Andrew Cuomo, wanting to join the "In" crowd, and suggesting he too got one.
