Deep Stategate: The Sweetheart Leaks

FBI informant news 'mother of all leaks,' House Intel Committee Chair Nunes says.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes said on Sunday the news regarding an FBI informant's alleged interactions with the Trump campaign was the "Mother of all leaks."

"Nunes, R-Calif., didn't specifically list newspapers, but was likely referring to a story published Friday by the New York Times, which said the FBI sent an informant to meet with Trump campaign advisers George Papadopoulos and Carter Page after the agency received evidence that the two had ties to Russia. The Times described the informant as"an American academic who teaches in Britain," though the paper said it "typically does not name informants to preserve their safety.

President Trump is meeting Monday with Senior FBI, DOJ and DNI officials at the White House to discuss classified documentation requested by the House Intelligence Committee and whether or not members of the Obama administration authorized the use of a long-time informant of the CIA and FBI to investigate members of his 2016 campaign.

What Americans have been witnessing for months since the start of the Trump administration has been a seriously Deep State effort to play the media by selective sweetheart leaks.

Over the past week, a mountain of leaks regarding classified information regarding the FBI's operation into the Trump campaign have been shared with The Washington Post and The New York Times.

If the DOJ and the FBI are selectively leaking sweetheart stories to media pals - while withholding documents from Congress not because they contain classified information but rather embarrassing truths about how this game has been played - then the President is in effect being targeted by his own bureaucracy in what can only be called an attempt at a coup d'état.
