FBI’s Manifest of Items It Seized from Its Trump Raid at Mar-A-Lago Lists ’11 Sets of Classified Documents’

During the raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, the FBI reportedly took a large amount of classified documents, including top secret documents meant to be kept in secure locations

  • Trump's lawyers argue that the president used his authority to declassify the material before he left office, but there is a legal controversy over the process

The Washington Post on Thursday reported based on its'sources' that the FBI was allegedly searching for classified materials related to the United States' nuclear weapons program.

  • "Experts in classified information said the unusual search underscores deep concern among government officials about the types of information they thought could be located at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club and potentially in danger of falling into the wrong hands," the Post proffered.
    1. FBI agents who searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home Monday removed 11 sets of classified documents, including some marked as top secret and meant to be only available in special government facilities, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
    2. “Classified documents relating to nuclear weapons were among the items FBI agents sought in a search of former president Donald Trump’s Florida residence on Monday, according to people familiar with the investigation,” WaPo reported.
