A commentary on the consequences of the socialist Democrat's failure to win the 2016 election for president.  Quote: "Fortunately for America, the conjoined hubris of the Democratic Party hierarchy, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton combined with the socialist absolutism of Bernie Sanders, opened the door for the left to unabashedly come out of the closet during the 2016 campaign.  Thus, offering a clear and unambiguous contrast between the Republican and Democratic Parties and their nominees. Donald Trump and Ted Cruz were the only Republican presidential candidates out of a field of 14 to clearly and instinctively see the reality on the ground and the political opening obliviously provided by the Democrats.  By waging a scorched earth campaign strategy, Trump won not only the nomination but ultimately the Presidency.   The resultant dismay and disbelief of the Ruling Elites and the Democratic Party hierarchy further exposed the unhinged radicalism of the left. Panic has set in on the American Left with Trump in the White House and the Republicans in control of both houses of Congress, as the realization sets in that the likelihood of the Progressives achieving their overarching socialist utopian dream may well be gone with the wind.   However, the specter of not only losing their illusory political supremacy but to do so to someone they view as a reprobate in the White House has so inflamed their passion that their threadbare tactics of fear and intimidation have given way to an unhinged and unabashed public unveiling of their fascist tendencies and their unconstitutional and potentially violent methodology of transforming the United States.  Their ability to hoodwink a majority of the American people is now fully and inalterably compromised."     https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/07/did_barack_obama_hillary_clinton_and_bernie_sanders_save_america.html

An interesting piece.  Quote: "It's very clear that Democrats -- the politicians, not all the people who vote for them -- hate democracy.  Democrats don't believe that power is from the people; rather Democrats believe that the elites, which in the minds of Democrats is made up solely of Democrats, should rule the rest of us. We can see this in the Democrats refusing to accept the results of the 2016 election. We can see it in the Democrats enthusiasm for the administrative state where unelected, unaccountable, unfireable bureaucrats can create thousands of pages of rules and regulations which average Americans have to follow. But we see it most clearly in the panic that Democrats are experiencing over the idea that Trump will be nominating someone to the Supreme Court who will decide cases based on what the law says rather than what they think the law should say."  And,  "Democrats knew what was best for America, and while the people didn’t agree with the Democrats, five Supreme Court judges did and that’s all that the Democrats cared about. Because Democrats have used the Court to impose their will on the people, they know that if the Court returns to its constitutional role as an impartial interpreter of the Constitution, the entire Democrat edifice -- ranging from ObamaCare to redefining marriage -- is at risk of tumbling down. Of course, the Democrats really never had a choice; their policies are toxic and rejected by most people so that they could never have been passed through the democratic process. But their winning run is about to end, and they’re furious because they know that they are better, more caring, and smarter than the rest of us.  In their minds, denying them tyrannical powers is an affront to nature, and they’ve long since given up on the idea that there is a God who gives us unalienable rights."  And,  "Ask them if they want the rules we Americans live by to be defined by the people, through our elected representatives, or by a few 1%ers on the Supreme Court. The NYT is correct in saying that the Supreme Court is the issue, but they refuse to admit that this will be the case only so long as the majority believe in legislating from the bench. Once Trump’s new nominee is on the Court, it will cease being the issue in all our elections because the Court will stop legislating and return to simply interpreting the laws passed by our representatives. Nothing else Trump will do is more important than returning the Court to its proper role and returning power to we the people."    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/07/democrats_endorse_judicial_tyranny.html
This item deals with the second nomination Trump has made to the Supreme Court.  The political left is up in arms and afraid its control of American culture is being taken from them.  https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/07/10/is-a-trump-court-in-the-making/
Although Judge Brett Kavanaugh's record is according to experts a stellar one and because he is a strict constitutionalists the political left is going to put up a real fight to protect the rulings of past liberal Court rulings that were questionable endorsements of left wing cultural matters incompatible with the Constitution.     https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/07/10/trump-nominates-judge-brett-kavanaugh-for-the-supreme-court/   Activist Court rulings favorable to progressive liberal causes outside the purview of the Constitution could be over if Kavanaugh is confirmed."

This is the real reason the political left is fighting the Brett Kavanaugh appointment to the Supreme Court. They will not be able to create rights out of whole cloth anymore.  Quote: "That’s exactly why the left is so hysterical about the Supreme Court. They run to the courts to win their most unpopular policy ideas, gift-wrapped and handed to them as “constitutional rights.” What liberals call “rights” are legislative proposals that they can’t pass through normal democratic processes — at least outside of the states they’ve already flipped with immigration, like California."  And,  "Realizing how widely reviled their ideas are, several decades ago the left figured out a procedural scam to give them whatever they wanted without ever having to pass a law. Hey! You can’t review a Supreme Court decision! Instead of persuading a majority of their fellow citizens, they’d need to persuade only five justices to invent any rights they pleased. They didn’t have to ask twice. Apparently, justices find it much funner to be all-powerful despots than boring technocrats interpreting written law. Soon the court was creating “rights” promoting all the left’s favorite causes — abortion, criminals, busing, pornography, stamping out religion, forcing military academies to admit girls and so on."    https://www.theburningplatform.com/2018/07/11/kavanaugh-threatens-the-lefts-right-to-cheat/

Hateful leftist did not care who Trump was to nominate for the Supreme Court they were going to have a conniption fit no matter who it was.  This group already had their rant ready.  We know this because they missed one "XX" where the name was suppose to be inserted.  The childishness of the current version of members of the political left is beyond the pale. Really, it is embarrassing.   https://www.dailywire.com/news/32825/womens-march-releases-statement-slamming-trumps-amanda-prestigiacomo?

At least some on the political have not fallen victim of Trump syndrome.  Quote: "It’s worth noting that Harris remains a “spiritual” atheist and strident progressive. Still, he speaks openly about the rabid insanity that the left is producing. In the following clip from a Dave Rubin interview, Harris describes his intolerance for the lies the Left has been spewing about Donald Trump.    https://libertyvideonews.com/atheist-liberal-sam-harris-reluctantly-defends-trump/
