This writer pin points the real problem we are dealing with.  Bad as they are his premise is that things like what happened in Charlottesville are a side show.  He points his finger at the power brokers at the top of the nation's pyramid...he has a really good point.  Two Quotes: "Specifically, we need to review some obvious facts.
