Dems plan rival concert to Trump inauguration in Miami and claim talent is 'banging on our doors' to get in

  • A Democratic concert promoter out of Miami plans to hold a large-scale concert to directly compete with Donald Trump's inauguration
  • With many pop stars and Hollywood types backing Trump's opponent Hillary Clinton, the Republican has struggled to book inaugural talent
  • While no acts have been announced yet, Clinton campaigned with a number of music stars during the waning days of her campaign
  • They included Jennifer Lopez, doing a Miami show, along with Beyonce, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and more
  • So far only 16-year-old Jackie Evancho, of America's Got Talent fame, has confirmed she will be singing at the inauguration on January 20, 2017

  • Much like Trump's inaugural, where only a handful of acts have been announced, there are few details about who might show up to this competing show.
Currently, Ross is working on getting funding for the large-scale show, a source told Politico.
However, plenty of pop stars and Hollywood talent were supportive of Democrat Hillary Clinton's bid for the White House, which is making it difficult for team Trump to book top-tier inaugural acts.
