An Obvious Divergance From Reality

This email deals with the idiotic statement made by Donald Trump and captured on audio 12 years ago.  He discussed his sexual advances on women.  His comments were totally stupid and irresponsible.  But before we judge him ask yourself what similarly stupid comments we have uttered or stunts we have wrongly committed over our life times.  I certainly qualify.  The difference is that his comments were captured on audio. Their veracity can be an accounting of an actual or fabricated event(s). Either way they were wrong.  Only he knows the truth.  Our transgressions, however, are lost to time.  But are no less real.  Below are thoughts germane to the upcoming election.

Matthew Dowd, a political pundit and obvious Democrat supporter, on the ABC Good Morning America show 8 October said and I paraphrase:  "Trump is in deep trouble.  I don't know how he can overcome this. Alluding to previous remarks made regarding Bill Clinton's past and Hillary's role [not to mention her ongoing troubles], he said the difference is that many Republicans have withdrawn support from Trump and some are even calling for him to step down.  On the other hand no Democrats are calling for Hillary to step down."  In other words he rendered a backhanded endorsement for Hillary.  To him her foibles are excusable.

The previous evening Gwen Ifel of Washington Week on PBS had a round table discussion which was really a festival of comments regarding Trump's stumble and the negative impacts it will have on his presidential run.  Hillary's efforts designed to destroy the lives and reputations of women who Bill sexually assaulted, groped or raped, as well as his sexual escapades while in the White House were apparently to them not germane to their assessments of Trump's comments.  You will recall that while Bill and Hillary worked to cover up of his misdeeds she went on national TV and told Americans that the charges against Bill were patently false.  They were instead a fabricated set of lies perpetrated by a "vast right wing conspiracy."  Bill's subsequent perjury under oath regarding of his sexual transgressions and subsequent impeachment and loss of his law license prove the lies told by both Bill and Hillary.  Notably Ifel's round table discussion gave Hillary's ongoing scandals only a passing glance.  Nothing to see there.

Let's decipher these items.

It is interesting the differences between the behaviors of Republicans and Democrats with respect to their presidential candidates.  Republican Trump is being vilified for making an inappropriate statement not only by fellow Republicans but also the mainstream media and Democrats.  Some Republicans have even called for him to step down. Many Democrats insist his comments disqualify him for office.  He has taken ownership of his remarks, apologized and admits he is no saint.  He intends to seek the public's approval for his run for the presidency based on his professional career which many believe qualifies him for the job.  He wants to move on.

Hillary, on the other hand, has not been vilified by Democrats for her serial lies about almost everything she has done or said.  In an interview with Scott Pelley of CBS news when asked if she is an honest person.  She had the audacity to say, and I again paraphrase: "I am always honest and tell the truth.  I do not lie to the American people.  I am an honest person."  Her above right wing conspiracy declaration was a whopper of a lie.  More recently she claims that she never received or sent classified emails over her illegal private email system.  Yet, FBI Director Comey just a few days later affirmed to members of Congress challenging his failure to charge Hillary with a crime that she had repeatedly lied to the FBI but her violations did not reflect "intent" to commit a crime.  He said that even though the email record contained at least one email sequence documenting Hillary's instructions to a State Department staffer to delete classified markings on an email so it could be sent to her. The FBI has confirmed that hundreds of classified documents passed over her private email system.  But in contrast to Trump's ready admission and apology, Hillary will not even admit she has repeatedly and with total impunity lied to the American people about her email disaster and more. There is for example the alleged corruption regarding her actions while Secretary of State in support of massive foreign donations to her family's private Clinton Foundation.  The matter is now under investigation by the FBI.   And there is the documented collusion between her, Obama and the State Department regarding the causes for and her actions not taken in the Benghazi disaster which included proven lies to the public about their made up cause for the tragedy (a nondescript video) and the real cause (a terrorist act) shared with her family and selected heads of states.  More examples exist.

After her husband's behavior prior to and during his presidency and her trashing of the women he abused, she has the audacity to tweet this about Trump's comments.  "This is horrific. We cannot allow this man to become president."  She is not only a world class liar but a horrific hypocrite.    https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/784497331647422464

Democrats are strangely silent regarding her many transgressions not to mention violations of national security laws and her obvious unsavory character.  Yet they vilify Trump for 12 year old inappropriate comments while barely acknowledging Hillary's past and her serious character flaws.  Both their hypocrisy and total absence of integrity is palpable.

Does anyone notice the difference?  Do Democrats have any core values?  What about a grain of morality?  After all they claimed while Bill was in office that his transgressions and abusive behavior were a matter of consensual sex amongst adults.  And they must have felt that Hillary's efforts to destroy his victims were no consequence. Yes, the facts are that he was a serial sexual philander. Nonetheless Democrat claims were that his previous transgressions were ancient history and did not affect his ability to serve as president.  Today Democrats are the proponents of all manner of sexual rights and privileges long held by society as deviant behavior.  They even promote men claiming to be transsexuals have a right to use female facilities, little girls in them notwithstanding.  And Trump's obviously misguided comments are a monumental matter of concern to them???   Bill's actual sexual abuse of women is not an issue???  Hillary's trashing of his victims is of no concern???  But Ttrump's 12 year old comments are cause to disenfranchise his right to serve as president???  That is rank hypocrisy!!!

At least Trump lives in the real world and admits his wrong doings but Hillary lives in an altered state where truth are lies and lies are truth.  A stark difference exists between the ethics and morality of Democrats and Republicans.  Consider with great care your upcoming vote.
