Glenn Beck vs. the Tea Party

Glenn Beck calling Tea Party members who support Trump racist has created a tsunami of disappointment, hurt, and anger. Beck's accusation is unfair. Conservative friends and political experts have been pulling their hair out, baffled over Trump's popularity even among Christian conservatives.
I get it why Tea Party folks are rallying behind Trump. Frankly, they view Trump, warts and all, as their last chance for real change in Washington. I have been a black member of the Tea Party movement from the “get-go”; a little southern language. Speaking and singing at over 500 Tea Party rallies nationwide over the years, I have stood in the cold, snow and rain -- endured blazing sun and heat with patriots. Though the crowds were mostly white, race was a nonissue. Stopping socialism and Obama lawlessly governing against the Constitution and the will of the American people was our only mission. I proudly stood with my white brother and sister patriots in mutual love for America; fearful of seeing her transformed into the Left's Nirvana; a godless wasteland of government dependency and debauchery.
Patriots spent millions in travel and contributions; promised by the GOP to stop Obama if given the House and Senate. The GOP lied. It is heartbreaking that the GOP,led by new House Speaker Ryan, just approved funding ObamaCare, the arrogantly evil Planned Parenthood, and more of Obama's leftist dreams.
