About Our Culture

Regardless whether you believe in God or you are an atheist, this is good read.  Quote: "Racism, murder, assault, and rape are objectively wrong, and people do have a right not to be harmed!” I agree. But that’s true only if God exists. In an atheistic universe there is nothing objectively wrong with anything at any time. There are no limits. Anything goes. Which means to be a consistent atheist you have to believe in the outrageous." And "In other words, no matter what side of the political aisle you’re on — no matter how passionate you believe in certain causes or rights — without God they aren’t really rights at all. Human rights amount to no more than your subjective preferences. So atheists can believe in and fight for rights to abortion, same-sex marriage, and taxpayer-provided entitlements, but they can’t justify them as truly being rights." http://townhall.com/columnists/frankturek/2015/02/06/atheists-steal-rights-from-god-n1953525/page/full

These organizations seem not to care that the are a part of the problem of the demise of morality in the US.  They are making big bucks.  That is all they care about.  Quote: "Common Sense, anecdotal evidence, and scientific research all demonstrate that pornography is a harmful, mind-altering drug that is causing a public health crisis in America. Addiction, broken relationships, increased sexual violence, child sexual abuse, sex trafficking and prostitution, and more societal ills are now overwhelming our communities and families as a result. Despite the incontrovertible evidence of harm, many companies and organizations still choose to add to this pandemic in order to make a profit or push an agenda."   http://eaglerising.com/14867/12-organizations-making-huge-profits-sexual-exploitation/

This item by Star Parker is right on the money!  Quote:  Martin Luther "King’s message was the message of a Christian pastor who saw meaning and justice as biblical truth. He quoted, in his speech, the prophet Isaiah, saying that “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”  One year before the I Have a Dream Speech, the U.S. Supreme Court banned prayer from America’s public schools – a first move among a long succession of decisions cleansing our schools and our public spaces of religion...But government grew more powerful after King, much of it inspired by civil rights leaders. More laws, more spending, more politicians and bureaucrats telling people what to do and how to live. America became less free.  And perhaps the most famous line of King’s speech, his dream that his children would be judged “not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” But the laws that followed were driven by government policies defined and motivated not by content of character but by race, gender, and income."  http://townhall.com/columnists/starparker/2015/02/09/america-on-the-wrong-path-on-race-and-poverty-n1953978/page/full  This lady speaks the absolute truth.

Quote: "When President complains about not having the funds to meet the government's budget needs, where is his concern about your budget as a taxpayer? Does he realize what higher taxes will do to your capital for investing, your purchasing power, and your family's future? When government spends; they’re spending your money. When you spend and make investments, successful businesses expand, jobs are created, companies make profits, the economy grows at a higher rate, and you have more money to give to deserving charities and others in need. That’s conservative caring."   http://townhall.com/columnists/terrypaulson/2015/02/09/ending-envy-economics-n1953061/page/full

Did you already know this?  If you have a SmartTV Samsung says "Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party through your use of Voice Recognition.”    http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/samsung-dont-discuss-personal-info-in-front-of-tv/    Your privacy is being invaded and it is being either allowed to happen or aided and abetted by the government.  How does that make you feel?
