This makes perfect sense to me.  The president thought his policies were the reason for the news.  But he was wrong.  It was his policies that inhibited employment.  When that stopped things picked up. Quote: "The new new working paper found that the expiration of benefits was responsible for the creation of over 1.8 million jobs. Nearly 1 million of those jobs were created by workers who would have otherwise stayed out of the labor force if unemployment benefits had been extended. Overall, almost 3 million jobs were created in 2014."   http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/study-60-percent-of-2014-job-growth-caused-by-expiration-of-unemployment-benefits/article/2559267

If this is true, the man is not only a vindictive being but also is totally out of control.  Quote: "A consulting firm almost entirely composed of former staffers of President Obama’s re-election campaign has been hired to run an election effort in Israel aimed at defeating Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."   http://www.wnd.com/2015/01/obama-army-deploys-to-tel-aviv-to-topple-netanyahu/

Even his own party does not want Obama to have this power.  If past performance is an indicator of future results concerns by both parties are certainly merited.  Quote: "Congressional Democrats have strongly supported President Obama's use of executive authority — but there is one power that many don’t want him to have.  Liberals are waging a vigorous fight against Obama’s push for expanded trade power, fearing it would lead to trade deals that favor corporate interests over American workers."  http://thehill.com/policy/finance/230619-the-one-power-democrats-dont-want-obama-to-have

As usual if it is a bad idea California leads the way.  This time California government directs DMV to ignore identity thefts by illegals. Quote: "The policy, issued last year and effective as of Jan. 1, 2015, directs DMV investigators to overlook identity theft by applicants “who may have attempted to obtain or been issued a license or ID card previously through submission of false information.” http://www.breitbart.com/california/2015/01/27/exclusive-california-dmv-ordered-to-overlook-identity-theft-by-illegals/

Regarding free speech.  It is okay for some but not others.  Quote: "Some Democrats, stung by rejection by the voters, want to revise and tame speech, too. If persuasion won’t work, maybe compulsion will. Sen. Charles Schumer of New York, unhappy with decisions of the Supreme Court, has proposed amending the Constitution to give the government the power and right to “regulate” political speech."    http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jan/26/wesley-pruden-the-democratic-assault-on-free-speec/

This is well worth pondering.  The Archbishop Jose Gomez of Los Angeles recently noted that "The right to life, as we know, is the foundation of every other right and liberty and the true foundation of justice and peace in society," he said. "If the child in the womb has no right to be born, if the sick and the old have no right to be taken care of, then there is no solid foundation to defend anyone's human rights."   http://townhall.com/columnists/terryjeffrey/2015/01/28/ence-p-jeffrey-n1949163/page/full
