Can Anyone Explain How This Is Not Blatant Racism

The following links are just a few examples of the reactions of some to the not guilty verdict rendered in the Zimmerman case.  While it is the right of anyone to have an opinion about the verdict, it is irresponsible to behave in the manner of these and other people/groups.  But with one exception (see link 1) none of the parties associated with the other links has any connection with the trial so their reactions and calls to action are visceral, not rational. (see links 2, 3, 4, 8)  And I might add their words and actions are completely irresponsible.  This is the sorry state to which our culture has sunk.

Sorry to say but it is my opinion that government leadership from the president on down are largely responsible.  Mr. Obama early on before any evidence had been presented in the case declared that if he had a son he would be like Travon Martin. (see link 5)  That set the "racial" tone for the trial and the rest is history.  Contrary to the liberal/progressive media's efforts to give Martin a child-like innocence the established facts about Martin's real persona says otherwise. (see link 7)  And, the travesty is that Obama has made little effort to quell the racial tensions he had a hand in fomenting.  Instead, without acknowledging the inappropriateness of  his past comments, he now yet again elevates the status of Martin and uses this tragedy to promote his political agenda. (see link 6)  If that behavior is not beneath the dignity of his office, I don't know what is.  The media serves as his cheer leader.

We all remember that when first elected he declared that he was a uniter.  We hoped that would be the case.  Instead, race relations have deteriorated throughout his term in office and he along with Attorney General Holder share much of the blame. (see link 8)
