It is amazing to me how many examples of food stamp fraud, waste and
abuse turn up. Yet, the president and the liberal left proclaim the
program to be a giant success. In fact, the president recently launched
a government advertizing blitz to get others to sign up for the
program. Let me say that I understand that there of those truly in need
and benefit from the use of food stamps. But all is not as liberals

hard facts pointing out problems with the program and the enormous cost
borne by taxpayers which are white-washed or completly ignored by the

One can put a good spin on almost
anything and the liberals/progressives are really good at that. They
play on human emotions much more than deal with the cold hard facts.
Truth, honesty and facts should be the basis for government policy; not
human emotions. Now, be real and determine in your own mind if you are
down with the view expressed in paragraph 1 or the facts in paragraph 2.
