Hello
Folks, it’s me again. Now that the game of politics is over, I can get
back to the heart of the major issues facing our nation and those are the
economic issues facing all of us. I posted this on Facebook and thought I would
put it in the newsletter to tell everyone I am back writing again to
“Keep the Middle Class Informed.”
Being
an Independent I didn't like either candidate for President but really was
surprised that Obama won. Mr. President, it's your game now, you blamed Bush
for about everything and it worked, now it's your turn (as it always has been
since you been in office) to get our nation on its feet again and unite this
country because your strategy was to divide the nation with promises that only
more government can attain. In case you folks think this is the right way for
the country to go, then you truly don't understand how our country made it too
the top of the mountain for our citizens.
As for Romney, he was not going to be the panacea that so many on the right hoped he would be because he too is a big government politician. His past history told us so. He was a corporate raider and if any of you been through what these kind of corporations do, you would not be so joyful with the way he would have tried to bring the economy back on its feet and correct the economy for all citizens who contributed to the economic well being of our nation.
Now for a dose of reality folks, neither candidate ever really addressed the T-Rex in the room, the tailspin in the economic stability of not only the USA but the much of the world. It isn't only the debt of the nations, it's the accumulation of economic power into fewer and fewer entities controlling the economic future well being of all of us, with their goals for themselves while we pay for those goals in so many ways. If you think not, why are the too big too fail now twice the size they were in 2008?
I did not write any newsletters for the last couple of months because of all the political stuff all of us saw every minute of every day and I didn't need it being just more white noise the all the "stuff" which was being spewed. But now I will start again presenting the economic issues facing all of us.
One final thought, nothing has changed. We have the same president, the same congress, and the same senate. Nothing has really changed economically for the country, except a continued downward spiral of the economy, gridlock, and more government. This cannot continue or the economy will fail and all else will be secondary.
