As Barack Obama will mark his first six
months in office on Monday, Americans for Tax Reform today released the
following comprehensive dossier:
Day 7 – January 26: Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is sworn in by Obama despite having owed more than $40,000 in back taxes and interest.
Day 10 – January 30: After a long career working and voting FOR tax increases and working and voting AGAINST tax cuts,
Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) nominee Tom
Daschle is first reported to have paid over $100,000 in back taxes.
